This note will discuss a variety of subjects, including our top reminders for actions to complete prior to the cruise and on Embarkation Day.

Saturday, January 31, 2026 is the Final Day for Online Check-In and Pre-Cruise Amenity Purchases!

Remember to complete your Online Check-In before it closes at the end of day on Saturday, January 31, 2026. If you don't check in prior to that time, you will be required to complete the entire check-in process at the Terminal on Embarkation Day (Tuesday, February 3, 2026) and you may incur significant delays.

To complete your Online Check-In, CLICK HERE, then enter your Celebrity Cruises username and password.

  • Remember to select your Terminal Arrival Time based on your personal travel itinerary. Please arrive on time – not before or after.
  • Once you complete Online Check-In, print your Xpress Pass and bring it with you to the Terminal for the most efficient and fastest processing.

Pre-Cruise Amenity Purchases

As we have shared with you in earlier notices, there is no central location on the ship to sign up for Internet, Beverage Packages, Excursions, Specialty Dining, Spa Treatments, etc. Each location is different, ranging from Deck 3 to Deck 10, and each location requires standing in line.

Through the utilization of Celebrity Cruises’ Pre-Cruise Planner, you may still complete these tasks online through Saturday, January 31, 2026. Doing so not only saves time, but it also saves money. To see all available amenities and to make purchases, go here, sign in (or create an account), then choose “Plan My Cruise".

Of particular note, Signature Cruise Experiences has worked with Celebrity Cruises to provide The Smooth Jazz Cruise '26.1 guests with additional discounts on already-reduced Beverage Packages when purchased pre-cruise. Mandatory Muster Drill

Once you board the ship, we recommend completing your Muster Drill as soon as possible. Simply proceed to your Muster Station (listed on your Cruise Identification Card or on the back of your stateroom door) where you will receive a quick safety briefing and have your Cruise Identification Card scanned. Please note: All guests must complete the Muster Drill prior to 3:00 PM.

Lunch on E-DAY

Oceanview Café (Deck 10): Open to all guests from 11:00 AM–2:30 PM.
Luminae (Deck 4): Private lunch for Suite guests from 11:30 AM–1:30 PM.
Cosmopolitan Restaurant (Deck 5): Private lunch for Aqua Class and Concierge Class guests from 11:30 AM–1:30 PM.

Your Cruise Identification Card

Your Cruise Identification Card will be in an envelope in the "slot" on the door of your stateroom. This card will be either BLUE or RED, reflecting whether you attend the 1st or 2nd Shows each evening. This card has several uses (room key, charge card for onboard purchases, identification card for boarding and disembarking). Please check your card when you first open the envelope to make sure that the color of your Cruise Identification Card is consistent with your reservation information. We will correct any mistakes made in the issuance of the Cruise Identification Cards, but it is highly unlikely that moving from one show time to another can be accommodated.

Prohibited Items

As a reminder, there are certain items and appliances that may pose a fire hazard and are prohibited from bringing onboard Celebrity Summit. These include (but are not limited to) candles and incense, coffee makers, clothes irons, steamers and hot plates. If you attempt to bring any of these (or similar) items onto the ship, they will be confiscated by security at the terminal and returned to you after the cruise has concluded.

The Performance Schedule will be updated at various times, so we advise accessing the link whenever you wish, but know that the schedule is subject to change. If you already printed the schedule, we URGE you to reprint it just before traveling to Ft. Lauderdale. The Daily Program onboard will include any additional changes.

A web version of the Daily Performance Schedule for The Smooth Jazz Cruise '26.1 is available now. To access it, visit https://smoothjazzcruise261.sched.com/ or click on the button below. We encourage you to view the schedule now so you can start to plan your trip.

Changes to the schedule will be made from time to time, so it’s wise to check back as often as you wish (but especially right before leaving for the cruise). Important Dates & Action Items

Celebrity Cruises Online Check-In: Now - January 31, 2026

Online Check-In is Open: Every guest must complete Celebrity's Online Check-In process before boarding the ship. In the past, you could choose to complete this process in the Cruise Terminal, but we highly recommend completing the process before you leave home to reduce your time waiting in line on Embarkation Day. To do so, click here, then enter your Celebrity Cruise Account’s username and password.

  • Remember to select your Terminal Arrival Time based on your personal travel itinerary. Please arrive on time – not before or after.
  • Once you complete Online Check-In, you will receive your Xpress Pass for boarding. We urge you to print your Xpress Pass and bring it with you to the Terminal for the most efficient and fastest processing.

Print Your Celebrity Cruises' Luggage Tags. To expedite and secure your luggage transfer from the terminal check-in to your stateroom, Celebrity Cruises has asked that our guests use the luggage tags which can be printed as part of the Online Check-In process.

To expedite and secure your luggage transfer from the terminal to your stateroom, please print your Celebrity Cruises luggage tags as part of the Online Check-In process.

Luggage tags:

  • Are available online to print until January 31, 2026
  • Must be printed from a desktop or laptop (not available via mobile app)
  • Should be attached securely to each checked bag.

We also recommend using reusable clear luggage tag holders (available via Amazon and other retailers) to protect your tags during transit.

Travel Insurance Reminder

We strongly recommend purchasing Travel Insurance to protect your travel investment and to cover medical or travel emergencies during your trip. You can purchase Travel Insurance up to 72 hours prior to the cruise. However, if you or your travel mate(s) have pre-existing conditions, you must purchase Travel Insurance within 14 days of placing your deposit for your cruise.

Frequently Asked Questions

When should I arrive at the Cruise Terminal?

When completing Online Check-In, you will be asked to select a Terminal Arrival Time between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM. To ensure a smooth flow of guests into the terminal, please arrive at the time you select.

What is the best way to travel to the Cruise Terminal?
If possible, it is easier and faster to be dropped off at the terminal by a friend, taxi, rideshare, or other transportation. If you plan to park at the port, we recommend dropping off your bags at the designated pier area first, then parking your car.

If I am staying at the Pre-Cruise Hotel, what should I do?
If you purchased Hotel to Pier Transportation from the Pre-Cruise Hotel, our coach buses will take you to the Cruise Terminal. Your luggage will be loaded on the motor coach by our team, and you will be assisted at the port by another set of porters. No tips. No lifting. A separate email with transportation details will be sent to you shortly.

If you have not already registered for this program, you must arrange your own transportation to the pier on the morning of Embarkation Day (February 3, 2026). Please note: Guests who sign up for ground transportation on Embarkation Day should select the latest available terminal check-in time when completing your Celebrity Cruises' Online Check-In.

What do I do when I arrive at the Cruise Terminal?
Upon arrival, you will hand your checked luggage to a cruise porter outside the terminal. Be sure your printed Celebrity Cruises luggage tags are attached and show your stateroom number clearly. You will then proceed into the terminal, where staff will ask to see your Passport and Xpress Pass, followed by security screening and the final steps of check-in

When do I receive my Cruise Identification Card?

This card also serves as your room key and onboard charge card. Please verify that the color of your card matches your reserved show time upon arrival. How do I obtain wheelchair assistance?
If you require wheelchair assistance for the duration of the check-in process, alert a staff member located directly inside of the entrance to the cruise terminal. The ship staff will be notified and a team member will escort you via wheelchair through the check-in and embarkation process.

When will I board the ship?
Boarding is expected to begin around 11:30 AM.

What happens after I board the ship?
Upon boarding the ship, you will be presented with your Souvenir Program outlining the Performers onboard, our ports of call and some of the special shows that are planned. We encourage you to enjoy lunch in the Oceanview Café (Deck 10), study your Souvenir Program, meet some of your fellow passengers, enjoy some refreshments, complete your Muster Drill requirements and explore the ship. This is a wonderful time to review the ship's special offerings for the week. See below for where some key items may be reviewed and purchased:

  • Internet Packages – Photo Gallery (Deck 4, Forward) or connect to the Ship's Wi-Fi and purchase directly on your device.
  • Spa Purchases - Spa (Deck 10, Forward).
  • Shore Excursions - Shore Excursions Desk (Deck 3, Midship).
  • Beverage Packages - Grand Foyer (Deck 3), Oceanview Café (Deck 10) or any open bar.
  • Specialty Dining Reservations - Grand Foyer (Deck 3) or Oceanview Café (Deck 10).

When will my stateroom be ready?
You will have immediate access to your stateroom upon embarkation. Your stateroom attendant may still be completing the finishing touches, but you will be able to access it immediately and drop off any hand luggage.

When will I receive my luggage?
Best efforts will be made to deliver your luggage as quickly as possible. The flow of luggage will depend on several factors, including customs, timing of other deliveries, etc.


Performance Schedule

In just a few days (January 23, 2026), the Performance Schedule for The Smooth Jazz Cruise ’26.1 will be revealed. On that day, we will send you an email, but you may also access that schedule by going the Booked Guests portal, where you will see an icon titled “Performance Schedule and Mobile App.” Please note that the Performance Schedule will be updated at various times, so we advise accessing the link whenever you wish, but know that the schedule is subject to change.

The Jazz Cruise '26 App for smartphones will also be available on the Apple App Store (iOS) and the Google Play Store (Android) for you to download and use while onboard. Our App will allow you to view the Daily Performance Schedule, easily see where your favorite musicians are performing during the week, and even search for a performance/event, all conveniently on your phone. Information on how to download and use the mobile app will be included with the Performance Schedule release email on Friday, January 23, 2026.

’27 is no exception. The Smooth Jazz Cruise ’27.1 and '27.2 are well over 80% reserved at this time.

Both sailings are in “Open Booking,” so those who have not reserved a stateroom may do so now either (a) online or (b) by calling our office during business hours. We encourage our '26.1 Guests to complete their reservation now for the best selection of staterooms on a ’27.1 Sailing. Or you may wish to wait until you are on the ship and complete a reservation by visiting the Future Cruise Lounge (Deck 5-Midship) during posted hours. The Smooth Jazz Cruise '26.1 will have a party atmosphere from the moment you board the ship. Part of that spirit is attributable to the amazing daily and nightly themes that will we be celebrating and enjoying all week during the Greatest Party at Sea!

Tuesday, February 3 – Welcome to The Smooth Jazz Cruise ’26.1: On the first night, we welcome back Past Guests and say hello to New Guests with The Smooth Jazz Cruise '26.1 Welcome Show!

Wednesday, February 4 – Black & White Night: By dressing this evening in either Black, White or both, the guests salute the universal nature of our music as well as being a fitting tribute to the piano. Plus it is fun to do so!

Thursday, February 5 – Ladies’ Day...and Night!: Ladies’ Day & Night honors the extraordinary women who bring jazz to life—onstage and off. We’ll shine a spotlight on the women who bring energy, artistry, and community to the music we all enjoy miss.

Friday, February 6 – Summer Breeze: Enjoy the “Summer Breeze” of Costa Maya during the day, then join us in the evening as the producer behind one of the most popular renditions of the hit song takes the main stage. Tonight's only dress requirement is to be cool and comfortable. 

Saturday, February 7 – On the Town / Formal Night: Every cruise should have one night when guests “dress up” a notch, enjoy a special meal and party to the wee hours. Saturday is that day on The Smooth Jazz Cruise '26.1. You may consider “evening out” or cocktail attire. Pour the champagne! Order the lobster! This is your night to shine with the stars.

Sunday, February 8 – Super Bowl LX / Jersey Night: It’s a full day at sea, with our usual lineup of world-class music presented throughout the day and continuing late into the night. Super Bowl Sunday will be in full swing as well, with a variety of venues available to watch the Big Game, enjoy classic game-day bites, and show off the jersey of your favorite team.

Monday, February 9 – Thank You Night!: As we head for Ft. Lauderdale having spent a full week immersed in music and fun, we take time to salute the international reach of jazz and the shared camaraderie that it provides.

Autographs/Recording Signings

Performers are encouraged to bring recordings onto the cruise for sale in the Signature Cruise Experiences store. Those who do so are usually happy to sign the products either informally or at a scheduled signing event. Seeking autographs at a performance venue either immediately before or after a show is discouraged. As we get closer to the cruise sailing dates, we will provide more information about autographs and signings.

Talent-Hosted Events Onboard

Many of the performers will be participating in scheduled Talent Hosted Events (THEs) during the cruise, such as Wine Tastings, Martini Making and Mixology Classes. These events typically require paid admission, but they are a wonderful way to have a more intimate exchange with the performers. Specific information about THEs, including times, costs, registering procedures and participating musicians will be provided shortly.

Interviews

For many guests, attending the interview of a special performer is one of the highlights of the cruise. It is exciting to learn more about the individuals performing our music and to understand the road they journeyed to have successful careers is a rare treat. On The Smooth Jazz Cruise ’26.1, these interviews are conducted by either a fellow performer as the host or by industry icon, Talaya. We have found that the rapport between and among performers and Talaya is special and so, too, are their interviews when it is just them having a conversation.

Game Shows

We can’t promise Let’s Make a Deal or The 10,000 Pyramid, but we can promise laughs, friendly banter and maybe a bit of performance anxiety for our artists who will find themselves in a different position on a main stage. Heroes' Breakfast Reception

The Smooth Jazz Cruise has been blessed over the past two decades with significant support and representation from guests who have served our country in the armed forces and as first responders. To recognize them and properly thank them for their service, we are hosting a Heroes’ Breakfast on Friday, February 6, 2026 at 8:00 AM in the Cosmopolitan Restaurant (Deck 4), during which each guest proudly announces his/her service to the country and is invited to share a short anecdote that relates to the cruise. Determining which guests should be honored at the Heroes’ Breakfast requires our guests to come forth and declare themselves as either current or former members of the Armed Forces or as a First Responder.

Therefore, we ask anyone who qualifies for our Heroes’ Breakfast to click the button below and fill out the form by January 26, 2026.

Divine Nine Photo Challenge

The Smooth Jazz Cruise invites all members of the Divine Nine to partake in a friendly competition amongst their fellow guests via a photo challenge. You’ve been taking photos since you first donned those Greek letters in your fraternity or sorority way back when. Now is your chance for a current large group photograph. Opening Act

The Smooth Jazz Cruise is excited to be offering this fun competition where you, the guest, have the chance to perform with our resident band for your fellow passengers in our talent show. The first two rounds will be judged by the audience and the final round is judged by the very artists you have been watching on stage throughout the week. The winner will open both shows in The Theatre on the last night of the cruise, where they may be joined by some of the featured artists to perform their winning song.

Nowhere else in the world do you have the opportunity to perform for incredible musicians and over 2,000 fans of smooth jazz music. If you need charts or lyric sheets, email us at [email protected] and we will provide upon request.

RULES
  1. All participating guests will register on the ship at a time and date yet to be determined.
  2. Participants who choose to play solo (with no band) or with a track can select the song of their choice including originals. If the participant wishes to perform with our house band, they can either choose a song from the Suggested Song Choice List provided below OR they can submit two choices of cover songs to [email protected] no later than January 26, 2026. The Band will then advise which of the two songs would be chosen to perform in the elimination rounds.
  3. Each song can be performed for no more than three (3) minutes.
  4. With the exception of drums and keyboards, each Guest must furnish their own instrument.
  5. There will be two (2) elimination rounds followed by one (1) final round.
  6. Judging for the first two rounds will be based on audience reaction and the band members’ professional opinion. The final round will be judged by some of the Artists on the ship.
  7. Profanity and/or vulgarity on stage will not be tolerated and any contestant violating this rule will be immediately disqualified from the contest.

All contestants grant Signature Cruise Experiences the irrevocable right to record their performance and to use, adapt, reproduce, distribute, broadcast and exhibit their performance in perpetuity in any and all media, manners and platforms, without the payment of compensation.

nce you've completed your Online Check-In, be sure to download and print your personalized luggage tags. These tags help with proper luggage identification and play an important role in ensuring your bags are delivered promptly to your stateroom on Embarkation Day.

Friendly reminder: Luggage tags will be available to print through January 31, 2026 and must be printed from a desktop or laptop computer, as they are not accessible through the Celebrity Cruises mobile app. We also recommend using reusable clear luggage tag holders—readily available on Amazon or other retailers—to keep your tags protected during travel.

Celebrity Cruises’ Online Check-In Now Open!

Complete Your Online Check-In

All guests must complete Celebrity Cruises’ check-in process before boarding. While check-in can be done at the Cruise Terminal, we strongly recommend completing it online before you leave home. This will:

  • Reduce your wait time on Embarkation Day
  • Provide you with personalized luggage tags for faster delivery of your bags to your stateroom

Deadline: Celebrity Cruises' Online Check-In is available until January 31, 2026 (three days before sailing). After that date, check-in must be completed at the terminal or through their Mobile App (see below), which may result in significant delays.

How to Check-In Online

1. CLICK HERE to log in with your Celebrity Cruises username and password.

Forgot your password? Click “Forgot password?” to reset.

New to Celebrity Cruises? Click “Create an account” and follow the prompts.

2. Enter your Celebrity Cruises' Reservation Number (listed above).

3. Select The Smooth Jazz Cruise '26.1 from your upcoming cruises.

4. Click “Start Check-In” and follow the prompts, including selecting a Terminal Arrival Time (30-minute windows). You must arrive at your chosen time.

Check-In with Celebrity's Mobile App

Celebrity Cruises also offers Check-In via their Mobile App. Scan the QR code here, or download the Celebrity Cruises app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android), then log in using your Celebrity Cruises username and password.

Once you’ve logged into the app, you’ll see The Smooth Jazz Cruise '26.1 listed under your upcoming cruises. Select The Smooth Jazz Cruise '26.1 and then click on the "Check-In” icon at the bottom of your screen and follow the steps provided.

Xpress Pass

Once you complete Online Check-In, you’ll receive your Xpress Pass. Print it and bring it to the terminal for the fastest boarding experience.

Your Xpress Pass is also available digitally in your account on the Celebrity Cruises App.

Luggage Tags

Luggage tags will be available 30 days before sailing, starting January 4, 2026. Once they are released, we'll send a reminder email so you can log in to your Celebrity Cruises' account and print them. Attach them to your luggage at the terminal before handing bags to porters. For added protection, consider using reusable clear luggage tag holders.

For security reasons, only guests can complete the online check-in process. If you experience technical issues or need help purchasing amenities, contact Celebrity Cruises Charter Helpline at 844.278.9746.


Act Now to Purchase Special Discounted Packages

Signature Cruise Experiences and Celebrity Cruises have worked together to offer special discounts on Beverage and Wi-Fi Packages for those guests who complete their purchases BEFORE sailing. These discounts (noted below) will expire on January 31, 2026, and require no special procedure as they are loaded into your Celebrity Cruises' Pre-Cruise Planner.

These packages will also be available to purchase onboard the cruise, however prices may be higher and completing the process will take time away from your vacation. SCE highly recommends completing this process now so that you can relax and enjoy music without missing a beat.

Celebrity Cruises is renowned for its dining, and The Smooth Jazz Cruise '26.1 offers a wide range of dining experiences, divided into Included Dining and Specialty Dining options. The diversity of choices encourages you to explore new flavors and try a variety of dishes. And if you’re not happy with your meal, simply make a different selection! After all, the cruise experience is about enjoyment.

For evening dining, we’ve scheduled meals around the Nightly Main Shows so you can dine leisurely before or after heading to the entertainment. See below for more details.

Included Dining

These are the dining experiences included in your reservation. Celebrity Cruises offers a variety of restaurants as part of the 'Included Dining' program:

  • The Cosmopolitan Restaurant (Main Dining Room). A grand two-deck space with a glass wall offering stunning sea views, The Cosmopolitan serves a full Breakfast, Lunch on sea days and a beautiful Dinner every night. Breakfast choices range from omelets and Eggs Benedict to pancakes, waffles and more. Lunch features healthy options, pasta, hamburgers and soups. Dinner offers a rotating menu with fish, meat, chicken and vegetarian options, along with appetizers, salads, soups and decadent desserts.
  • Ocean View Café. This casual, self-serve dining spot on the pool deck serves breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon snacks, dinner and late-night bites. You’ll find pizza, pasta, sandwiches and sweets here, with seating both inside and outside at the Sunset Bar—perfect for sipping a drink at sunset. Don’t tell anyone, but having a drink during sunset at The Sunset Bar is one of the most memorable aspects of any cruise!
  • Pool Grill. For a laid-back vibe, enjoy hamburgers, hot dogs, fries and other casual bites at the Pool Grill. Open later some evenings for special events, the Pool Grill is a great spot for grabbing a bite after an evening of jazz.
  • Spa Café and Juice Bar. Located in the Solarium, this health-focused café offers organic foods for breakfast and lunch. Beautifully presented dishes with clear nutritional information make it the perfect choice for health-conscious cruisers
Specialty Restaurants

For those seeking a special dining experience, a place to celebrate or just something new, Celebrity Cruises offers several themed 'Specialty Restaurants' (available for an upcharge) that provide unique culinary experiences:

  • Tuscan Grille. Famous for its Italian fare with a modern twist, Tuscan Grille is perfect for hearty appetites and refined tastes. Book early in Celebrity Cruises’ Pre-Cruise Planner to secure a special discount for the first night’s reservation (February 3, 2026). This offer is limited and reservations are filling up fast!
  • Sushi on Five. Satisfy your craving for authentically prepared sushi, sashimi and other Japanese specialties at Sushi on Five (a la carte pricing). Carryout meals are offered and make a great takeaway for dining on a veranda or outside deck.
  • B.Qsine– B.B.Qsine puts a bold, modern spin on classic barbecue. Think slow-smoked favorites, creative sides, and playful presentations—all designed for sharing. It’s casual, flavorful, and full of surprises, making it a great spot to gather with friends and sample a little bit of everything. Please note that this is listed as 'Qsine' when booking in Celebrity's Pre-Cruise Planner.
  • For an intimate and elegant experience, Luminae offers a gourmet menu with changing daily selections. We at SCE Cruises highly recommend that you enjoy at least one dinner in Luminae.
  • SCE Chops House. Located in Blu Restaurant, SCE Chops House brings classic steakhouse dishes to life, including steak, lobster and more. It’s available each evening, with a special discount for first-night reservations (February 3, 2026) when booked early through Celebrity Cruises’ Pre-Cruise Planner. Please note that this is listed as 'Blu' when booking in Celebrity's Pre-Cruise Planner.

Evening Dining at The Cosmopolitan Restaurant

The Cosmopolitan Restaurant (Decks 4 & 5) is the Main Dining Room for Included Dining. The Cosmopolitan Restaurant is open each evening from 5:00 PM–8:30 PM and operates as both an Open Seating venue and by reservation. Most guests will enjoy dinner in The Cosmopolitan Restaurant several times during the week. With this level of attendance, we have special dining procedures just for The Cosmopolitan Restaurant.

Open Seating

Guests in Open Seating of The Cosmopolitan Restaurant (Deck 4) will proceed to the dining room in accordance with their “BLUE” or “RED” show designation. This selection was made at the time of your reservation and will be reflected in the background color of your Cruise Identification Card which will be at the door of your stateroom upon boarding the ship.

Guests with BLUE Cruise Identification Cards will attend the 1st Main Show which usually runs from 5:30 PM-7:30 PM. Following the conclusion of their show, Guests with BLUE Cruise Identification Cards may either proceed to The Cosmopolitan Restaurant for a 7:30 PM entry or pause to have a drink or enjoy one of the shows around the ship, thus avoiding peak traffic time entering the restaurant. Entry to The Cosmopolitan Restaurant is open until 8:30 PM.

Guests with RED Cruise Identification Cards will attend the 2nd Main Show each night. Guests with RED Cruise Identification Cards may enter the dining room between 5:00 PM–5:45 PM. To prepare the restaurant for guests attending the 1st Main Show, we ask that guests adjourn from the restaurant no later than 7:15 PM. The 2nd Main Show will start at 8:45 PM.

Reservations at the Cosmopolitan Restaurant

Dinner reservations are NOT required for dining at The Cosmopolitan Restaurant but it is the best way to avoid waiting to be assigned a table each night. We also recognize that some of our guests prefer to dine at the same time and table, and with the same passengers and waiter each evening. Reserving a table in advance allows you to do this.

To secure a reservation and to register the names of your dining group, if applicable, email us at [email protected] and provide the guest names and desired time (5:00 PM for RED Cruise Identification Card Holders or 7:30 PM for BLUE Cruise Identification Card Holders) for your dining group.

There is no charge for reserving a table and dining time, we just ask that you make your request prior to December 31, 2025.


Room Service

Room Service is available 24/7. Breakfast order cards are provided in your stateroom—simply complete and hang them outside your door by 11:00 PM for morning delivery. A full Room Service menu is available, including most main dining room entrées. The cost is $9.95 per order (excluding guests in Suites).

While many guests enjoy breakfast via Room Service, we believe meals are best experienced in the onboard dining venues. Due to the distance from the kitchen and volume of deliveries, food may arrive less hot or fresh than intended.

Celebrity Cruises is committed to accommodating dietary restrictions such as vegetarian, gluten-free and more. For additional dietary needs, contact the Celebrity Cruises Access Department at 1.866.592.7225 or [email protected]. Please submit your requests no later than December 31, 2025.


Le Méridien Dania Beach at Fort Lauderdale Airport 

Still arranging your travel plans for The Smooth Jazz Cruise '26.1? Good news: We’ve managed to reserve a room block at a special rate for guests at Le Méridien Dania Beach at Fort Lauderdale Airport (just a few minutes away from the airport and the pier)!

The even better news is that we will also be offering coach transportation from the Le Méridien Dania Beach hotel to the pier on Embarkation Day. Guests may register for this service now ($35 per person) by completing the ground transportation form not later than Friday, December 26, 2025.

Scooter & Wheelchair Rental

Wheelchairs and scooters are available to rent from several sources and will be delivered to your stateroom before you board. Celebrity Cruises Access Department can assist by providing information for wheelchair and scooter rental companies. Main Show Seating Assistance for Entry (SAFE)

The Smooth Jazz Cruises’ onboard accessibility program is designed to allow safe and convenient access (for a guest and one companion) to The Theatre for each evening's main show. Designated SAFE areas will be clearly marked and are reserved for those who require assistance and submit the requested information. By utilizing the SAFE program, you are given an easily accessible seat, typically located near the rear of The Theatre.

The SAFE program is only for nightly Main Stage shows in The Theatre and does not guarantee a seat in all other shows. Click here to complete the SAFE Form no later than December 31, 2025.

Please note: Utilizing SAFE in order to avoid wait time is strictly prohibited. Guests who attempt to misuse this service will be revoked from the program for the duration of the cruise and possible future sailings.

Dietary Considerations & Medial Needs

If you have special dietary considerations or medical needs (such as storing medicine or needing distilled water) you will need to discuss these needs with the Celebrity Cruises Access Department at 1.866.592.7225 or [email protected]. Please submit your requests no later than Wednesday, December 31, 2025.


Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance, not only to protect the investment of your Cruise payments, but to cover costs and expenses that may be incurred during the cruise, such as medical or travel emergencies. It is not too late to purchase travel insurance, though guests with pre-existing conditions must do so within 14 days after their deposit is paid.

The benefits of Travel Insurance go far beyond providing basic cancellation coverage. Other benefits can include:

  • Your personal medical plan may not provide complete coverage outside the U.S. and its territories. The Travel Guard Preferred plan gives you $50,000 in accident, sickness and medical coverage.
  • Work related reasons which are state specific (please refer to the link below for your state).
  • Medical emergency/death of an immediate family member or cabinmate.
  • Travel Guard Preferred offers up to $500,000 in medical evacuation coverage if you need to be transported off the ship and to a U.S. hospital.
  • Lost or stolen luggage protection, and personal effects coverage up to $1,000.

Reminders from Get Ready Letters #1 - #2

The items below have been presented and discussed in detail in prior Get Ready Letters. We are repeating them as some are time sensitive and most are important steps for you to take before sailing. Again, past Get Ready Letters may be located under the Booked Guests portal on The Smooth Jazz Cruise ‘26.1 website.

  • Passport: Every guest should have a current passport that expires no earlier than 6 months after the disembarkation date of their cruise.
  • Confirmation Numbers: Each guest has two confirmation numbers, one from Signature Cruise Experiences and one from Celebrity Cruises. You can confirm those numbers by reviewing your cruise confirmation. Your Signature Cruise Experiences' Confirmation Number is used when communicating with our office about the details of your reservation, payment plans, and any other aspect of the cruise that Signature Cruise Experiences controls. Your Celebrity Cruises Confirmation Number is used when you complete your online check-in (available 45 days before sailing) and for purchases you wish to make before sailing through your Celebrity Cruises Pre-Cruise Planner.
  • Beverage and Internet Packages: Signature Cruise Experiences and Celebrity Cruises have worked together to offer special discounts on Beverage and Wi-Fi Packages for those guests who complete their purchases BEFORE sailing. These discounts will expire on January 30, 2026. To access the Celebrity Cruises Pre-Cruise Planner, simply login to your Celebrity Pre-Cruise Account to make your purchases.

Showtime Information

We’re excited to share how music and entertainment will be presented aboard The Smooth Jazz Cruise '26.1. You’ll enjoy performances in two different formats: Main Shows and Festival-Style Shows.

Main Shows in The Theatre
  • Two Main Shows Each Night. Each night there will be two Main Shows presented in The Theatre. That venue comfortably holds 50% of our guests, so Guests are divided into two groups for attending the Main Shows. Guests with BLUE Cruise Identification Cards (BLUE Guests) will attend the 1st Main Show, which usually starts around 5:30/6:00 PM each night. Guests with RED Cruise Identification Cards (RED Guests) will attend the 2nd Main Show, which usually starts around 8:45/9:00 PM each night.
  • BLUE or RED. The election of being a RED Guest or a BLUE Guest was made by the Guest upon completing their reservation and is reflected in either a BLUE or RED background on their Cruise Identification Card.
  • Dinner. The Main Show Schedule is meant to be coordinated with the evening dining schedule. BLUE Guests usually dine after their Main Show and RED Guests typically dine before their Main Show.
  • Main Show. Every Main Show is performed twice, once for BLUE Guests and once for RED Each Guest will be able to see all seven Main Shows.
  • Seating Procedure for Main Shows. The general rule for seating is first-come, first-served. To provide fair, safe, and equal access to the events, we do have rules and procedures that all Guests must follow regarding entering The Theatre, saving seats, remaining in your seat for subsequent shows and other similar issues. As we approach the sailing date for The Smooth Jazz Cruise '26.1, we will share with you those rules and procedures

Festival-Style Shows & Events
  • Multiple Venues. The Smooth Jazz Cruise '26.1 features music, interviews, parties, and other events in several locations across the ship, including the Sky Lounge, Rendezvous Lounge, Pool Area, and Foyer. Each evening—and on afternoons during Days at Sea—the Cosmopolitan Restaurant is transformed into a cabaret-style club and event center.
  • Festival Style. Except for Main Shows, all concerts, interviews and other events—including those in The Theatre—are presented “festival style,” meaning multiple programs may occur at the same time. Guests may attend as many or as few as they wish.
  • Seating Procedure for all Non-Main Shows. The BLUE Guest and RED Guest Show Seating designations apply only to Main Shows. All other events are open to everyone, with seating available on a first-come, first-served basis. Specific seating guidelines will be shared closer to sailing.

Since our first sailing in 2001, Signature Cruise Experiences has invested in top-tier equipment and an expert technical team, led by Production Manager, Brian Rachko, to ensure every performance sounds its very best.

Recording of Shows

Flash photography and audio/video recording are strictly prohibited. Non-flash photos are permitted only if they do not obstruct views for other guests or disrupt the performance

Engaging the Performers

A highlight of The Smooth Jazz Cruise '26.1 is the chance to meet and interact with our performers. They welcome conversation—just not immediately before or after a show, when they and our team need full access to the bandstand and venue to prepare for the next performance.

Passports or Government-Issued IDs

Please confirm that the first and last names on your passport or government-issued ID match the first and last names on your cruise reservation to ensure that you will be permitted to board the ship. It is your responsibility to identify and obtain all required travel documents and have them available when necessary.

Review Your Shirt Size

Your complimentary cruise T-shirt will be available on the ship. Please verify the size(s) we have included in your reservation (listed above). If you desire to modify any of the sizes listed, please email us at [email protected]. Any changes or modifications must be submitted to us no later than Friday, August 15, 2025.


Planning Your Trip

If you have not already planned your arrival into the Ft. Lauderdale area, now is the time to start preparing. We highly recommend that guests arrive the day prior to embarkation in order to alleviate stress from any potential travel delays or issues.

Embarkation Day – Tuesday, February 3, 2026
Embarkation typically begins at 11:30 AM, with all guests required to be on board by 3:00 PM. During the Online Check-In process (available starting 45 days before sailing), Celebrity Cruises will prompt you to select a Terminal Arrival Time in 30-minute windows. To help ensure a smooth and efficient boarding experience, guests must arrive at the terminal within their selected time slot.

Disembarkation – Tuesday, February 10, 2026 
The ship is scheduled to return to port by 7:00 AM. Please note that clearing Customs and Immigration can vary in timing, making it difficult to predict your exact departure time from the terminal.

If you're comfortable carrying your own luggage off the ship, you may be able to disembark as early as 7:30 AM, assuming operations proceed smoothly. However, to allow ample time, we recommend scheduling return flights no earlier than 12:00PM from Ft. Lauderdale International Airport (FLL) or 1:00PM from Miami International Airport (MIA).

Ground Transportation to the Pier - $35 Per Person

Coach transportation to the cruise terminal will be available from the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina for $35 per person.

Advance reservations are required by Friday, January 2, 2026. You may register now by completing the Ground Transportation Form.

Once your form is submitted and reviewed by the Signature Cruise Experiences team:

  • The Hotel to Pier Ground Transportation will be added to your reservation
  • $35 per person will be charged to the card on file, unless otherwise specified
  • A confirmation email will be sent once your Ground Transportation reservation is complete

Final instructions for this transfer will be sent approximately 15 days before the cruise.
