Having played piano and organ in church since a child, Nicholas Cole began creating his first album with the help of his dad in their home studio. The Weekend (out 9/13) is his third album and features label mate guitarist Chieli Minucci on the soothing leadoff single “Soulmate.” The combination of smooth beats and acoustic guitar is heard throughout the entire album. His influences range from Stevie Wonder, Earth, Wind & Fire and contemporaries like keyboardist Brian Culbertson.
Nicholas once said “I really wanted to write and play music that came from the heart.”
